A Seat at the Table

What makes you think you’re not good enough? What makes them think you’re not the chosen one? Try to look at it from both perspectives. You can only be as good as you believe. You can only be as strong as you feel. You can only be heard if you speak. You can only be respected by respecting yourself first. You can only be a priority if you eliminate yourself from being an option. Be mysterious, let them THINK they know you. The less you give of yourself, the more they’ll seek. Your inner strengths comes from what you’ve already overcame. Your intelligence grows as you teach yourself and others. Sometimes the blessing is the lesson. Someone told me “Clarity is everything”. You know what? They’re right! You can‘t be out here making C- decisions but expecting an A+ life. Where does that happen? You have to be clear on what direction you’re headed. You have to be clear on who helps you elevate to the next level. You have to be clear on who you are and your life’s purpose. Repeat YOUR life’s purpose. Too many of us are focused on other people’s happiness and forget our own. Stop tiptoeing to make others comfortable... let them hear your footsteps. So you ask “What do I bring to the table?” First of all, I am the table... you’ll have to be invited to take a seat! Build your legacy, use your power/strength, use your knowledge, use your resources and stand tall on your foundation. You can be heard without being seen. Don’t allow anyone to tell you different. They can doubt you, just don’t doubt yourself. When you know you’re satisfied with your life, you’ll know you’ve done well. Maintaining that satisfaction is the real work! 2020 has been a tough year for most of us. Take a glimpse back and appreciate the things/people you have....tomorrow isn’t promised! Enjoy the moments, otherwise they’ll pass you by!
