Becoming "too comfortable" is similar to plateauing. You’ve become complacent where you are in life. However, life is about continuous growth—career, health, relationships, dreams. The type of growth that predicts your future. When you’re too comfortable you lose the appreciation of your goals. Once you achieved one goal, it’s time to work toward the next one and so on. When you become stagnant so does your dreams. You can‘t create happiness from being stagnant or complacent in life. Ask yourself, “What is it “I” want/need to excel and be happy with my life?” Once you can honestly answer that question, you have to focus and put every effort into completing those desires. Nothing or no one should be holding you back. And if you feel as though something/someone is holding you back, let it go. Your dreams/goals aren’t everyone else’s...And that’s ok. Build your happiness as you’re working towards your goals. You should always challenge yourself and look for new ways to improve. A couple of signs of being too comfortable/complacent:
-when you haven’t developed a clear WHY—Your WHY will be what drives you when motivation is low.
-wrong support group—Most people are afraid of accountability, they surround themselves with those who keep them comfortable by not challenging them.
If you woke up this morning and your life is pretty much the same as it was 3 years ago, that means you’re not growing, you’re complacent and that equals to unhappiness!
”Without continual growth and progress, such words as improvement, achievement and success have no meaning”—Benjamin Franklin
Being uncomfortable can cause you to grow to New heights!! Keep praying.
So true! Amen 🙏🏽 🙌🏽❤️
