Good Morning!

The Morning is the time when you set the tone for the rest of the day. When you walk into a room, send a text, answer the phone, or starting a conversation in the morning- say “Good Morning”.  They’re just not words, you’re wishing or believing someone’s day will be well. Do you remember waking up, walking in a room and not speaking to your parents or any other adult and they would say “I didn’t sleep with you last night”?  This would prompt us to say “Good morning” or “Hello”.  But the more I thought about it, even if I did sleep with you last night, you still deserve a “Good Morning”. To think about it, it’s really effortless.

Speaking to others in the morning has many positive results. It connects us with others, especially at home and the workplace. We are social beings who thrive on having positive vibes. It makes us feel good and possibly takes our minds off our problems if only for a moment. Make eye contact and maybe push through a smile when saying “Good Morning". You may think that a good morning text is pointless but it can mean more than you know. It might seem insignificant but it has a powerful effect on someone’s entire day. You have the power to turn their day into a great one if it started off bad. Just learn to be consistent with your thoughtful gestures and greetings. SN: I have a friend in California that sends me an inspirational “good morning “ quote EVERY single day.  And no matter how I’m feeling, it makes me smile EVERY single day- thank you Kris.

“Good morning. I’m tired. I bet you’re tired. But we’re awake and alive and that’s enough”.     -Unknown
