Gotta Stay Ready

Have you ever prayed for something or someone you’re not ready for? Thinking there’s enough time to prepare yourself for what you’re praying for, not realizing it can be delivered at any given time. Being caught off guard can be one of the worst feelings. You’ll say —Shucks, I didn’t expect that to happen now. Sometimes the Universe teaches us a lesson just to humble us. You may be bless with a prayer you spoke in existence to realize you didn’t properly prepare yourself. So what do you do? When you receive what you failed to make room for you can end up feeling overwhelmed. You can’t ask for a million dollars and don’t know how to invest it. You can’t pray for growth if you have a problem leaving a few people behind. The relationship isn’t going to flourish if you’re not ready to put the work into making it last. Your heart isn’t going to heal if you’re constantly dwelling on the heartbreak. Be careful what you ask for if you’re not ready and willing for the preparation, purpose, and the sacrifices it takes to make it your reality. Preparation is key. You even have to prepare yourself for the unknown. The delivery may not be what you’re expecting, but it’s yours to devise. Sit down and have a conversation with yourself. Figure out who and what will change your life in a positive way. Predict your future and claim it. What’s the purpose of your prayer? Is it really purposeful or is it an element to make your life complete? What are you willing to sacrifice? Will it be love, career, friendship, money, yourself or nothing at all? Once you really know what you want and you‘re prepared to receive, sit back and watch the Universe work its magic. Be patient. Be ready!
