No Need To Explain

No matter what you say or do, someone has something to say. You can try to prove yourself a 1000 times and it’s still not good enough. Well guess what? No need to keep proving to others that aren’t worthy of your space or time. Stop putting too much effort into being perfect. You don’t have to explain yourself and your choices to anyone you don’t have an intimate/personal relationship with. They will think whatever they want, regardless. At times they may make think they know you better than you. Fact is, you can’t control their thinking. Some people thrive on proving you wrong. That takes too much time and effort. Don’t let them ruffle your feathers—and if for some reason your feathers are ruffled, refluff them, smile and put your focus on something/someone else.

When you feel the need to keep explaining, people are only going to understand from their level of perception. Stop allowing people to direct you to places they’ve never been. These people want to think they’re right and you’re wrong. These same people want you to believe they know so much more than you and their life is better. Always remember who you are—you are enough! Don’t allow anyone make you feel you’re less than. Stop explaining why you feel the way you feel. Stop explaining why you love who/what you love. Stop explaining why you chose your career path versus what “they” thought you should do. Some will try to trick you into believing their way is the right way. No, you just need to stay a few steps ahead of the foolery. If you feel the need to keep explaining to people that don’t matter, what does that say about you? Save your words for those who are meaningful to your life. Don‘t set yourself on fire to keep other people warm. Who cares what you allowed in the past, your growth is your growth! If the decisions you make are pleasing to you, that‘s all what matters. You really don’t have to explain yourself. Because when you do, you are only pleasing everyone else. Trust and believe, their mind is already made up about you.
