It’s funny how some people can give you great advice but they don’t follow the advice they give. Like seriously, you’re telling someone they should do something, but you need to do it too, but don’t. Sounds hypocritical, right? Well it is! We all know what’s good for us, but knowing and doing are totally two different things. There’s always someone in your circle telling others how they should live their life, but their life is questionable. If you’re going to give advice, lead by example. Some may think it’s easier to help others than themselves. How do you sit and watch everyone around you move forward, cheer them on and you‘re stagnant? Other people’s happiness cannot be your happiness. It’s easier to tell others what they should be doing instead of doing it ourselves. It’s part of the issue with holding others to a higher standard and not realizing it. Sometimes you may think you’re moving forward just to realize you’re only walking in place. Learn to take your own advice. Learn to cheer for yourself before cheering for others. Be patient with yourself, but not too patient. Stop being complacent, stop making the same lateral decisions. Blessings on top of blessings are being missed due to the lack of faith in yourself. So stop being in such a HURRY to give others advice and HESITANT about following your own. The truth about life is we are what we do everyday. You gotta show up for YOU.
“It’s on YOU to get YOU where YOU wanna be”
Let’s start here! Happy Kwanzaa 🖤

So very true... it’s very hard for people to look at themselves
